We’re a community dedicated to bringing unknown karigars into the spotlight. From traditional handloom to soulful art, explore the stories behind the hands that create true beauty.

Welcome to our community. This is what it looks like when hundreds of artisans, volunteers, and lovers of handmade come together to celebrate creativity at our Festival of Handmade in South Bengaluru.

Our mission started with a simple question: why should the creator remain an "unknown karigar"? We are here to challenge the idea of "yeh mera karigar hai" (this is my artisan) and put the makers and their stories first.

Meet the hands behind the handmade. At our festivals, you connect directly with creators from all over India, hearing their stories and learning about their craft, from Warangal dhurries to Assamese silks.

This is the magic we create together. When artisans connect with the right audience, their hard work sells out. This is a real message from a happy food creator at one of our events.

We believe everyone is a creator. Our 'Made It Myself' campaign celebrates the art you make for personal joy, like this stunning piece of wearable enamel art from our community.

We are Mala and Sonia, the founders of A Hundred Hands. What started in our garden has grown into a movement, and it's a joy to host this incredible community of creators and supporters.

Every thread tells a story. We celebrate the incredible skill of India's weavers and the timeless beauty of handloom, a cornerstone of our nation's craft heritage.

Our community runs on passion. We are always looking for volunteers to help with everything from photography to event management. This is how you can be a part of the movement.

About Featured

At our events, you are buying directly from the maker, not a reseller. Our 'No-Reseller' seal is backed by a rigorous selection process, including video verification of their craft. This ensures that every rupee you spend goes straight to the karigar, keeping their traditional skills and livelihood alive.
