About Featured
When we take on a restoration project, such as the Jindal Centre in New Delhi, we do not simply patch the exterior. We strip back decades of wear to the base structure and re-engineer the facade using modern materials. This allows us to maintain the original form of a building while significantly improving its performance against weather and thermal demands.
Our practice is defined by an all-or-nothing approach to design. Whether we are working on a 90,000 sq. ft. commercial headquarters or a private garden lounge, our methodology remains the same: we analyze the existing site constraints and structural history before proposing any intervention.
Technical Approach and Planning
We invest heavily in the planning phase. We utilize detailed axonometric drawings and 3D modeling, such as the work we completed for the 080 Lounge at Bangalore International Airport, to visualize spatial dynamics. This technical rigor ensures that every element—from fire safety compliance to acoustic partitions—is integrated into the design before execution begins.
Restoration and Modernization
Much of our work involves adaptive reuse. At the Jindal Centre, we addressed the challenges of a 20-year-old Dholpur stone facade by integrating modern structural grouting and waterproofing. For The Bandra Project, we focused on indoor-outdoor connectivity, using wooden fins and strategic landscaping to link the lobby with the pool area. We prefer these complex challenges because they require us to balance heritage preservation with functional, modern requirements.
