About Public Speaking & Media Advocacy

Why I Speak Out

Law isn’t just about courtrooms - it’s about real people, real lives. Dekho, main hamesha kehti hoon (I always say), too many women get lost in the noise of taarikh pe taarikh (never-ending delays). I use my voice so their stories get heard, whether I’m on a news panel or in a college auditorium.

What You’ll Hear From Me

  • Women’s rights public advocacy: I break down legal loopholes, question government action, and highlight cases where systems fail women.
  • Media debate expert: You’ll often spot me on TV or digital platforms, not for fame, but to push for legal awareness campaigns and demand accountability.
  • Systemic corruption: From city tragedies to national headlines, I’m not afraid to call out the people in power.
  • Social reform through law: I explain how new laws like the BNS can actually make a difference if we stay alert.
  • Freedom vs. law: I clear up the confusion about what you can say and where the law draws the line.

Inspiring the Next Generation

I love talking with students - from TEDx to law schools in Mumbai, even Columbia University. I share how I became a lawyer at 48, and why it’s never too late to stand up for what matters. I show how tools like PILs can be used for real social change.

What Drives Me

Justice isn’t a solo journey. Jab tak hum ek dusre ka haath nahi thamenge, desh aage nahi badhega (until we support each other, our country won’t move forward). That’s what keeps me raising my voice.

My Story

I’m Abha Singh, started out as a civil servant, saw the system up close – not always pretty. That’s what pushed me to law, especially for women’s rights. Allahabad’s Ganga, Kumbh Mela – my roots run deep, family’s my anchor. My kids, Isha and Aditya, both lawyers too – proud moments! Now promoted to grandma, new joys. College pals, old laughs, travel – all this keeps me grounded and reminds me why I fight for dignity and real change.

My Work

Legal Representation & Activism - I work on Public Interest Litigations, criminal cases, and women's rights legal help. I also speak at TEDx, Columbia, and media panels.

Voice for the Voiceless - Through Rann Samar, I fight for victims of domestic violence, dowry, workplace harassment, and compensation for manual scavengers.

High-Profile Cases & Systemic Change - Handled cases like Salman Khan Hit-and-Run. I file PILs to fix broken laws, push for PoSH committee legal support, and challenge injustice.

How I Work - I fight for justice with facts, passion, and a real understanding of society. Not just law, it’s about ground reality.
