Bharatanatyam Solo Performances & Choreography

About this collection
When I work on a solo piece, I focus on Abhinaya, which is the art of expression. I do not just teach the steps. We work together on the storytelling, ensuring your facial expressions and eye movements connect with the audience, making the performance feel personal and alive.
Bharatanatyam is so much more than rhythmic footwork. In my private coaching sessions, we break down the Jathi and the Sahitya to understand the emotion behind every movement. Whether you want a devotional Stuti or a rhythmic Thillana, I help you build the routine from the ground up, keeping your specific capability in mind.
Technical precision is at the heart of classical dance. During our 8-10 hours of private training, we focus on the foundation, which is the Araimandi and the Muzhumandi. My goal is to refine your posture and hand gestures, known as Hastas, ensuring that your performance has the poise and grace needed for a stage recital or a professional video.
Whether you are preparing for a debut or looking for a unique performance for an event, my choreography is flexible. I provide an audio-edited track and a filmed review at the end of our sessions so you have a record of your progress. If you are new to the form or an experienced dancer, I adapt the complexity to suit your journey. Let us create something that resonates with your spirit.
