My troupe and I bring the grace of Bharatanatyam to stages across Bengaluru. From temple festivals to cultural evenings, we focus on traditional storytelling that connects with every audience. ✨

This formation depicts the many arms of the Goddess, a visually complex and powerful moment from our group performance. It requires immense coordination and trust among the dancers.

About this collection

When I choreograph for cultural programs, the biggest challenge is balancing traditional technique with stage presence. I focus on creating group formations that look beautiful from every angle in the audience, ensuring that our collective movements, especially the synchronized Araimandi, are clean and impactful, even in larger venues.

For cultural recitals, the focus shifts from just dance to a complete visual and spiritual experience. I often curate programs for platforms like the ICCR, where the audience expects a blend of technical precision and narrative depth.

Why Cultural Events Require Specific Choreography

Unlike casual events, cultural evenings require a deeper understanding of Abhinaya (expression) and Natya (storytelling). My approach involves:

  • Thematic Cohesion: Whether it is a Shiva Stuti or a traditional Thillana, every piece is structured to build a narrative arc that keeps the audience engaged.
  • Stage Geometry: Performing in venues like Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan demands specific spacing. My group choreography ensures that formations are visible and elegant, whether we are a trio or a larger ensemble.
  • Audience Connection: I believe dance is a shared experience. During these recitals, I emphasize eye contact and subtle expressions that bridge the distance between the stage and the viewers, making the ancient art form feel accessible.

I treat every recital as a devotional offering. If you are organizing a cultural program or a festival and looking for a group that respects the sanctity of the classical form while delivering a polished, professional performance, I would love to discuss how we can bring that vision to life.
