Whether it’s the grandeur of the Mysore Palace or the scale of a national musical production, I bring the precision and devotion of classical dance to large-scale events. Let's create something powerful together.

A cherished memory with the entire cast of NMACC's 'The Great Indian Musical'. Being part of this grand production was an incredible learning experience, involving 23 consecutive shows and immense teamwork.

Performing at the glorious Mysore Palace for Dasara 2024. This clip shows our troupe presenting a piece with the iconic Nataraja symbol in the background, a truly powerful moment.

A post performance video of our troupe in front of the illuminated Mysore Palace during Dasara. Performing at such a historic venue is always a special honor.

A beautiful moment of devotion to Lord Krishna, captured during our 'Aharnishi 2024' performance. Group choreography often allows us to create these living tableaus, full of emotion and grace.

This excerpt from our 'Raas Leela' varnam was performed for Aharnishi 2024. The choreography captures the playful and divine dance between Lord Krishna and the Gopis.

Performing the anthem of the Mysore kingdom in praise of Goddess Chamundeshwari at the Mysore Palace. Dancing to this powerful music on such a historic stage was an unforgettable experience.

A snippet from a Shiva Stuthi we performed at Aharnishi 2024. The choreography is set to Raga Lathangi and showcases the powerful, cosmic dance of Shiva.

About this collection

Big stages demand more than just technical precision; they require spatial awareness, disciplined formation work, and the ability to project energy to the very last row. When I choreograph for large productions, my focus is on blending the integrity of Bharatanatyam with the geometry of group formations to ensure the performance commands attention, whether the audience is in an intimate hall or a vast palace courtyard.

Professional stage productions differ significantly from intimate recitals. The stakes are higher, the lighting is complex, and the coordination between dancers must be seamless. Having worked on high-visibility projects like the NMACC's 'The Great Indian Musical' and the prestigious Mysore Dasara, I have learned that the key to a successful large-scale show is the synergy between the dancers.

My approach to large group choreography involves:

  • Formation Geometry: Designing stage blocking that looks balanced and dynamic from every angle, specifically for troupes of 6 to 12 performers.
  • Narrative Depth: Ensuring the storytelling, whether mythological or thematic, remains clear even when performed on a massive stage.
  • Visual Impact: Selecting costume palettes and movement patterns that register clearly under professional stage lighting.

I treat every project as an artistic collaboration. Whether you are planning a cultural festival, a thematic musical, or a grand festive celebration, I work with your team to bring a vision to life. I handle the technicalities—music editing, rhythm training, and cleaning sessions—so you can focus on the performance itself. If you are looking for choreography that respects tradition while meeting the demands of a modern, grand-scale production, let’s talk about your vision.
