About Landscape Design
Why I Care About Landscape Design
For me, the garden isn't just décor—it shapes how a place feels. My style is about erasing the boundary between home and nature. I try to make spaces where you can chill, wander, or just stare at a wall of green, letting your head empty out for a bit.
How I Bring Nature Inside
I love working with indoor courtyard landscaping, especially in the heart of a house. Sometimes, that's a courtyard you can see from every room. Other times, it's a staircase-turned-jungle, or a double-height living room where big, tropical leaves reach up to the skylight. If you’re into sacred corners, I’m all for adding a puja spot surrounded by plants and maybe even water.
Rooftop green retreats are another favourite. I use built-in planters and let vines spill over, so the terrace or roof feels more like a mini-forest than just a slab of concrete. The goal is always to frame cool outdoor views and make you want to hang out there.
My Signature Moves
- Play with light and shadow garden effects using skylights, pergolas, or even jaali (screen) walls for those shifting patterns through the day.
- Stick to earthy stuff—exposed brick, rough stone, terracotta, warm wood.
- Tropical garden design is my go-to: think Monsteras, Palms, Fiddle-Leaf Figs, vines everywhere.
The Way I Work
I start by messing around with real materials and plants—mood boards you can touch, not just look at. I want you in on the whole thing, from early sketches to the final brick. It’s always a bit messy, but that’s half the fun.

My Story
We’re Leapingfrog Studio, but honestly, folks just call us the gang. There’s a dog, pizza, and a lot of laughter mixed with design deadlines. We’re not just about buildings – we’re here for stories, rituals, and the messy joy of creating together. Our studio’s seen friends become family, and every project is a new adventure. We love getting our hands dirty, chasing inspiration, and celebrating every little win. Feels surreal, but this is what we do.
