Meet Me & My Pack: The Heart of Zoella Dog Training
I am Chaitra, and everything I teach at Zoella started with my own dogs, Zoey and Bella. They taught me that training is not about rigid obedience, but about building a bond that lasts a lifetime.
This was a proud day for me. Here I am with my dog after officially becoming a certified dog trainer. My education is the foundation of the safe and effective guidance I provide on all our adventures.
Receiving my dog training certification was a dream come true. It represents my commitment to understanding dogs better and helping other pet parents build stronger relationships with their own furry family members.
Meet the inspirations behind my work. Zoey, my goofy Golden Retriever, and Bella, my sweet German Shepherd. Their names combine to form "Zoella," which means "complete life," because that's what they gave me.
A happy moment with my two best friends, Zoey and Bella. Spending time with them in nature is my greatest joy, and it's a joy I love sharing with other dogs and their parents on our hikes.
This is my girl Bella. Sharing these beautiful outdoor moments with her is what drives me to create similar experiences for you and your dog.
A peek into a typical weekend with my dogs, Zoey and Bella. From car rides and park fun to just relaxing, our life together is a constant adventure and a reminder of the importance of shared experiences.

About this collection
When you choose a trainer, you are not just picking someone with a certificate, you are picking a partner for your dog's journey. I do not believe in quick fixes or turning your pet into a robot that only follows commands. My method focuses on understanding your dog's unique personality and building a relationship based on trust. Before you book, I encourage you to see how I work with my own girls, Zoey and Bella—it is the exact same patience and positivity I will bring to your home.
How My Journey Began
I didn't start as a professional trainer with all the answers. I started as a pet parent who was completely overwhelmed. When I brought my Golden Retriever, Zoey, home during lockdown, I was crying more often than I was laughing. She was wild, sensitive, and had her own way of doing things that turned my world upside down. That messy, frustrating journey is exactly why I became a certified trainer. I know what it feels like to love your dog and feel completely lost because they aren't listening or are acting out.
Why 'Trust-Based' Matters
Many people think training is just getting a dog to 'sit' or 'stay' on command. While those are useful, they are just tools. True training happens in the quiet moments—when your dog chooses to look at you for guidance instead of reacting to a trigger, or when they feel safe enough to explore a new trail with you. My philosophy is built on:
- Understanding the 'Why': Every behaviour has a root cause. Whether it is anxiety or a lack of boundaries, we look at the reason behind the action rather than just suppressing it.
- Positive Reinforcement: We celebrate the small wins. I never use fear or punishment because a dog who learns out of fear is not a dog who trusts you.
- Real-Life Skills: We don't just train in a studio. We work on real-life skills like calm vet visits, safe leash walking, and building the confidence to handle city chaos.
Whether you are struggling with puppy foundation, adult dog obedience, or anxiety modification, remember that it is never too late to start. You are not just teaching a dog; you are building a lifetime of friendship.
