Most training focuses on basic obedience, but I focus on true confidence. Whether your dog gets anxious in the car or you want to start taking them on new adventures, I teach them how to stay calm in the real world. Let’s make travel, daily outings, and exploring new places fun for both of you, not something to worry about.
Why Real-World Confidence Matters
Training isn't just about sitting when asked. It’s about ensuring your dog feels safe enough to explore the world with you. My approach to training goes beyond the basics to help with things that actually matter for your daily life: being relaxed in a car, staying calm on a boat, or feeling comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings.
I break these experiences down into manageable steps. If your dog gets stressed in the car, we don't force it. We practice, we go slow, and we use positive reinforcement until they realize the car is just another space they can relax in. It is the same philosophy I use for all behavior modification—focusing on the 'why' behind the stress rather than just trying to suppress the behavior.
The Heart Behind The Work
Everything I do is rooted in my own journey. My first dog, Chuppi, was the one who started it all for me. He was the gentle soul who taught me how to hold a leash, how to take a dog on a drive, and ultimately, how to love a creature that would change my entire life path. He gave me the confidence to rescue my girl, Zoey, and start this journey.
When I work with you and your dog, I carry those lessons with me.
