Guided Nature Hikes for Dogs
Your dog needs more than just a sidewalk stroll. Join our expert-led nature expeditions around Bangalore, where your pup can enjoy off-leash freedom, safe swimming, and serious mental enrichment.
This is what my guided hikes are all about. We explore beautiful trails like this one at Muninagara, letting the dogs experience the joy of swimming in a lake, running on hilly terrain, and safely socializing with their new friends.
People often ask me why I believe so strongly in getting dogs out into nature. It’s simple. Nature provides mental stimulation through sniffing, a safe space to run free, and a calming environment that is especially helpful for anxious dogs.
Here I am with a happy Golden Retriever and German Shepherd on one of our nature expeditions. I'm always present to guide the pack, ensuring every dog is safe, comfortable, and having the best time possible.
Our adventures often start before we even hit the trail. I help dogs get comfortable with different forms of transport, from car and jeep rides to even a gentle boat trip, making the entire day a positive experience.
This is Ginger, a pup who started out a bit nervous. Watching him confidently navigate this rocky path shows how these hikes build resilience. Exploring new textures and terrains is a huge confidence booster for dogs of all sizes.
After a good hike full of sniffing and exploring, this is the result. Two happy, tired dogs decompressing and relaxing in a wide-open field. This is the peace and calm that a city walk just can't provide.
About this collection
A quick city walk is rarely enough to decompress an energetic or anxious dog. These aren't casual park strolls; we head out to proper, pre-scouted trails like Muninagara Dam where your dog can sniff, swim, and explore completely off-leash. I am right there with the pack to monitor interactions, handle recall, and manage energy levels, so you can stop worrying about potential distractions and actually enjoy the hike alongside your best friend.
Why Nature Matters
I created these weekly expeditions because I know that a happy dog is a stimulated dog. While obedience is important, time in nature is essential for their mental health. Sniffing—a natural decompression activity—reduces stress and anxiety in a way that city environments just can't match.
What To Expect
Each hike is a 3 to 4-hour adventure, carefully planned to ensure your dog is safe and having a great time:
- Safe Exploration: We choose trails with varied terrain to challenge their coordination and build physical confidence.
- Water Play: Many of our spots include access to water, which is a fantastic way to tire out high-energy breeds and keep everyone cool.
- Expert Supervision: I keep the group size limited to 8–12 dogs. This ensures I can actively monitor body language, prevent conflicts, and focus on structured socialization rather than chaos.
- Real-Life Training: We use long lines and practice recall in real, distraction-heavy environments. It is the perfect test for the obedience skills you’ve been working on at home.
Who Is This For?
Whether your dog is a high-energy adventurer who needs an outlet or a shy pup who needs a safe, structured environment to build confidence, these hikes are designed for them. If you want to move beyond the usual neighbourhood walk and share a unique, bonding experience with your dog, let’s get you out on the trail.
Zoella Dog Training
Hi, I'm Chaitra. My own golden retriever, Zoey, taught me that a dog's happiness is built on more than just 'sit' and 'stay'. I started these hikes because I wanted a space where dogs could truly be themselves, and I'd love to help you and your pup find that same connection out on the trail.
