About this collection
I break down every step slowly, so you never feel rushed or out of place. We focus on low-impact moves that keep your joints happy while working on balance and mobility, meaning you get a full workout without the high-intensity strain.
Zumba Gold isn't about being perfect; it's about staying active and avoiding the isolation that can set in after retirement. In our HSR Layout sessions, we trade high-intensity jumping and twisting for fluid, safe movements that lubricate your joints and keep your heart rate up in a healthy way.
What we focus on
- Safety & Mobility: The choreography is modified. We remove the hard landings and rapid direction changes found in standard Zumba, making this ideal if you are managing knee pain or are new to exercise.
- Cognitive Sharpness: Learning routines helps keep the mind alert. We repeat sequences, allowing you to build confidence and muscle memory.
- Social Wellness: This is the most important part. My seniors often say this is their 'second innings.' We celebrate birthdays, festivals like Pongal and Diwali, and hold post-class chats. It is a space to meet peers, not just an exercise hour.
