Strength is about more than just moving heavy plates. It is about building a body that lasts, fueled by consistency, breath, and the grit to keep showing up—even on days when you feel like you are crawling.

A typical strength session featuring 50-60kg barbell deadlifts, kettlebell upright rows, and core work. I structure workouts to build comprehensive strength, focusing on the posterior chain with deadlifts and complementing it with movements for the upper body and core.

A barbell squat session is more than just a workout, it's a mental challenge. By focusing on my pace and breathing, I can push my limits safely. This is a core exercise I teach all my clients to build lower body strength and full-body stability.

Goblet squats are a fantastic tool for knee strengthening and perfecting squat mechanics. In this video, I'm demonstrating the deep range of motion and upright posture that this exercise develops, making it a key part of both performance training and rehabilitation programs.

This montage shows how I combine heavy lifting with other disciplines. The clip starts with a heavy barbell squat, demonstrating the powerlifting component of my training, before moving into mobility and bodyweight exercises for a complete, well-rounded approach.

About Strength & Powerlifting

When we lift, we aren't just chasing numbers on a bar. I prioritize your form and joint safety first, especially if you are coming back from an injury. We focus on controlled movements and mobility work to make sure your strength isn't just for show—it is functional, stable, and built to last.

My Approach: Strength with a Soul

I believe fitness is messy. It is not always about hitting a PR (personal record) every single day. My training method blends the raw power of powerlifting with the grounding nature of yoga. We don't just 'lift'; we learn how to breathe through the struggle, how to find stability in the uncomfortable, and when it is okay to just 'Jaane do' (let it go) and recalibrate.

Why Train With Me

  • Technique Over Ego: Whether you are new to the barbell or a regular lifter, we start with alignment. I watch your gait, your squat depth, and your joint tracking to build a solid foundation.
  • Injury-Aware Training: I have navigated my own ACL and meniscus recovery. I know exactly what it feels like to start from zero. I bring that same patience and corrective focus to your sessions, using regression tools like box squats and resistance bands to keep you safe while you get stronger.
  • Holistic Strength: We combine hypertrophy work with mobility drills. You will leave the gym feeling not just fatigued, but more capable and fluid in your movement.

What You Get

  • 1-on-1 Focus: Personalized workout splits at Cultfit HSR/Koramangala, tailored to your specific weight or strength goals.
  • Real-Time Correction: I am right there with you to spot heavy lifts and correct your posture, ensuring you don't pick up bad habits.
  • Mindset Work: Fitness is a mental game. I help you build the discipline to show up, regardless of how you feel.

This isn't about being perfect. It is about being consistent and kind to yourself in the process.
