Graffiti Workshops for College Fests & University Events
I bring the raw energy of street art to your campus. Whether it’s for a cultural fest or an arts collective, we turn blank walls into collaborative masterpieces that define your campus identity.
This reel captures the whole journey of our workshop at IIT Delhi. You can see the initial blank wall, the first spray, the collaborative process with my crew and the students, and the final epic group shot. It’s a full-on creative session.
A collage capturing the vibe of the Rendezvous Fest '24 workshop. On the left, you see students taking selfies with the mural in progress, and on the right, a close-up of the vibrant, finished artwork. It’s about the experience as much as the art.
Here I am with my co-artist, guiding the students at the start of our graffiti session at IIT Delhi. We believe in teaching by doing, getting everyone involved from the very first moment to create a sense of shared ownership over the final piece.
This image highlights the key takeaways from my workshops. We cover the theory, like what graffiti is and its tools, but the main focus is always the hands-on experience where you get to develop your own style on a real wall.
This is me, kicking off the workshop at IIT Delhi. I start by sharing the story of street art and explaining the basics, making sure everyone feels comfortable and inspired before they pick up a spray can. The goal is to demystify the art form.
About College Fest & University Workshops
We do not waste time on boring theory. I get your students straight to work on a large-scale, pre-sketched wall where they handle the spray cans themselves. You provide the surface, and I bring the professional low-pressure paint, a full cap library for line work, and safety gear like masks and gloves, ensuring the session is safe and high-energy.
Turning Your Campus into a Canvas
A college fest is all about energy, and nothing captures that better than a live, collaborative graffiti mural. I have worked with institutions like IIT Delhi to show that street art is not just about tags; it is about self-expression and community. My workshops are designed to break the ice and get everyone involved, regardless of their art background.
The Workshop Breakdown
- Introduction to the Craft: We start by demystifying the art form. I share a bit about graffiti history, the Devnagari script style, and how to respect the culture.
- Technical Basics: Students learn how to hold a can, the difference between a fat cap and a skinny cap, and how to maintain line crispness.
- The Mural Jam: This is the main event. We divide the group into crews, giving them ownership over specific sections of a mural. While I handle the complex outlines and highlights, the participants take over the color filling, learning to blend and fade.
What You Need to Provide
To make this happen at your university, I just need a designated wall surface that we can prep. Whether it is an exterior boundary wall or an interior common area, I bring everything else: Flame and Cosmos paints, safety gear, and the artistic direction.
If you want a workshop that moves past the usual events and leaves behind a permanent piece of art for your college, let’s chat. My sessions are about more than just painting; they are about the 'hausla'—the courage—to try something new and own your creative space.
