Stop counting bars and start feeling the rhythm. At Yellow Lights, we get you behind the kit playing your favourite tracks from day one.

Our student Nandita locks into the groove with her take on 'Spirits' by The Strumbellas. We are proud of her solid timing and great feel after just a short time with us.

Here's our student Aajitesh with an explosive drum cover of 'Holy Wars' by Megadeth. This performance showcases the precision, power, and pure thrash energy we teach in our advanced drum lessons.

Smyan, one of our dedicated drum students, brings serious energy to this cover of 'As It Was' by Harry Styles. It's always a treat to see our young musicians perform with such tight grooves and spirit.

Our student Rayaan plays 'Karvaan' on the drums, focusing on feel, timing, and control. We aim to build well-rounded musicians who understand the groove and discipline of drumming.

Sanaayaa delivers a powerful and emotive groove in her cover of 'Carnival of Rust' by Poets of the Fall. Her playing captures the intensity of the track while showcasing her own style.

Jesal takes on Linkin Park’s 'Papercut' with raw energy and tight grooves. We encourage students to channel the attitude of the music through every beat.

Our student Reyansh channels raw energy into every hit of this Aerosmith classic. We teach our students to play loud and stay locked into the groove.

Two styles, one groove. Here, our students Aajitesh and Jesal rock out to 'Toxicity' on both acoustic and electronic drum kits, showcasing their versatility.

Exploring rock and its sub-genres helps our drummers develop a deeper understanding of their craft. This pushes their skills beyond the basics and helps them become more versatile musicians.

Our student Aajitesh channels his sense of rhythm onto the drum kit. We believe the ability to express yourself through an instrument is one of life's greatest treasures.

About Drummers in the Zone

We don't do boring drills here. You will be playing on professional Pearl drum kits with Paiste cymbals from your first week. Our song-based approach means you learn technique by playing the tracks you actually love, not by memorizing endless scales.

Learning the drums is a physical process, and we believe it should be as fun as listening to your favourite album. When you start here, we don't just hand you a practice pad. You get time on real acoustic drums in our acoustically treated studio in Kavesar, Thane.

We prioritize 'feel' over pure theory. Whether you want to nail a complex Bollywood fill or lock into a steady rock beat, our modules are designed to get you playing along with backing tracks quickly. For those who want the certification, we provide structured preparation for Trinity College grade exams, ensuring you get the formal recognition alongside the practical skills.

We also know that drumming can be an isolating experience if you only ever practice at home. That is why we integrate band jamming sessions early on. You will learn how to listen to other instruments like bass and guitar, manage your volume, and contribute to the overall sound of a track. It is the difference between being a drummer who plays alone and one who can actually hold down a groove in a live band. If you are serious about stage performance, we also offer a season-long program that ends with a guaranteed live gig.

I am Aditya, and at Yellow Lights, we treat drumming like a language rather than a chore. My focus is on getting you stage-ready by helping you lock into the groove, understand the feel of a song, and eventually join the band to play live shows.
