Wall & Ceiling Finishes for Stylish Interiors
Small changes make a big impact. See how simple molding, creative lighting, and smart ceiling designs can completely transform your room on a budget.
A client wanted a ceiling design that would make their small room feel special. I created this intricate coffered ceiling design. The before-and-after shows how we turn a plain, rough ceiling into a work of art that makes the room feel grander.
This is a great false ceiling design for a small room. The combination of a central circular element and peripheral cove lighting adds depth and provides beautiful, indirect ambient light, making the room feel cozy and modern.
A complete before-and-after of a bedroom ceiling project. You can see the initial metal framework and wiring, followed by the finished POP design with clean lines and soft cove lighting. A good ceiling design completely changes a room's atmosphere.
Here you can see my team carefully installing a beautiful wallpaper inside arched wall moldings. This combination of POP work and wallpaper creates a classic, artistic look, turning a plain wall into a sophisticated feature.
This video shows the process of installing PVC molding to create a French-style wall paneling. After painting, we added a classic wall lamp to complete the elegant and timeless look. It's a simple way to add a lot of character.
Here's another example of a bed back wall designed with molding. The cool blue paint color combined with the clean white lines of the molding and a modern gold-finish wall light creates a very calming and stylish look.
A unique ceiling design idea for a small room. Instead of a standard rectangular design, I created these circular recessed coves with lighting. It's a simple, modern, and unexpected touch that adds a lot of visual interest.
About this collection
Many clients worry about ceiling height in small rooms. I use specific cove lighting and clean, thin POP designs to add depth without making the space feel crowded. It is all about the right scale, and I make sure every edge is finished properly so you do not see cracks later.
My approach is simple: focus on the 'choti choti cheezein' (small details). A false ceiling is not just for looks; it is for lighting and managing room height. If you have a low ceiling, I avoid heavy, bulky designs and go for clean, layered POP work with recessed cove lighting. This distributes ambient light evenly, making the room feel open rather than trapped.
For walls, I love using French molding. It is a cost-effective way to bring a classic, high-end look to a bedroom without needing expensive artwork. Whether it is arched molding for a wallpaper feature or simple, clean lines behind a bed headboard, these details add character. I make sure my team uses quality molding strips and precise joinery because if the joints crack, the whole look fails.
I do not believe in overdoing it. Often, a single well-lit accent wall or a cleverly designed ceiling with soft, indirect lighting is all you need to change the entire atmosphere of your home. Everything is built to last—because what is the point of a beautiful wall if it peels or cracks after a year?
