My Approach to Ceilings
People think ceilings are just basic structure, but they are the first thing guests notice. For the past 10 years, I have been transforming standard rooms into luxury spaces with custom false ceiling designs. I specialize in both clean, modern tray ceilings and complex, curved POP shapes.
Why Lighting Integration Matters
A ceiling without the right lighting is incomplete. I fit your lighting directly into the design. Cove lighting creates a cozy mood, backlights add depth to your wall panels, and sleek LED strips keep everything looking sharp. I plan the wiring, circular cutouts for downlights, and cove provisions during the framework phase, so the result is seamless.
The Process: Quality Over Speed
Good work takes time. I never rush. Here is how I ensure quality for every client:
- Strong Framework: I use 0.55mm thick Galvanized Iron channel grids fastened with heavy-duty plugs, not cheap materials.
- Jointing & Finishing: I use fiber paper tape and multiple coats of jointing compound to seal all board joints. This prevents those annoying hairline cracks that appear in poorly done ceilings after a few months.
- Smooth Paint: Every surface is prepped with acrylic wall putty and sanded smooth before applying high-quality emulsion paint.
