Curated Creative Workshops & Community Experiences
Welcome to the heart of what we do at Wondershop. From children’s theater and heritage storytelling to community festivals, this is a look at the real, joyful moments we help bring to life across Mumbai.
This video is a whirlwind of joy from our Monsoon Finale, a culmination of our June workshops. It captures everything I love: kids and adults performing together, the beautiful Krishna butter-bash drama, and the proud smiles of parents. It truly shows how we bring the whole community together through art.
This is a glimpse into the ancient art of Chitrakathi, a 400-year-old form of shadow puppetry. The stark contrast of the handcrafted leather puppets against the screen creates a mesmerizing storytelling experience, bringing tales like the Panchatantra to life for a new generation.
The energy after our Ram-Leela musical is electric. This video captures the pure joy and excitement from the audience. Seeing the children in their costumes, beaming with pride, and hearing the wonderful feedback from parents is the greatest reward for me.
Our eco-friendly Ganpati making workshop is an event for all generations. This video shows the beautiful process, from tiny hands molding clay to the proud faces of families holding their self-made Bappa. It’s a day of pure devotion, creativity, and connection.
This is from "Phir Le Aayi Dil," one of my curated live music evenings. The warm lighting, the intimate setting with my "Wondershop" sign glowing, and the soulful performance on stage capture the professional yet heartfelt atmosphere I strive to create for music lovers.
Nothing speaks louder than the words of happy parents. These testimonials from our Ram-Leela musical fill my heart. They highlight the remarkable experience and exposure the kids gain, which is the core goal of my children's theatre productions.
Meet the young entrepreneurs from our Christmas Flea Market. I love creating platforms like this where kids can explore their creativity and business skills. Watching them confidently present their handmade art, from paintings to bookmarks, is incredibly inspiring.
A happy moment from our "Totally Booktastic Club." This picture captures the warm, encouraging environment I foster. Seeing this group of smiling, engaged children after a storytelling session is a perfect snapshot of the community we are building.
About Featured
Every event we curate—whether it is a 3-week Ram-Leela musical production or an intimate shadow puppetry session—starts with the same premise, we want to build a community, not just run a program. We handle the heavy lifting from the script and costumes to the technical audio-visual setup at your venue, so you can simply show up, sit back, and watch the kids or the community thrive without the administrative headache.
More Than Just a Workshop
At Wondershop, we believe that creativity thrives when we step away from screens and connect with one another. Our work focuses on 'Curated Creative Experiences' where the goal is shared learning and participation. Whether we are hosting a community festival, setting up a drama club, or reviving ancient Indian art forms like Chitrakathi shadow puppetry, our approach remains the same: it must be heartfelt, interactive, and inclusive.
How We Work
We operate as a mobile studio, meaning we travel to your venue—be it a society clubhouse, school, or private residence—across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. We bring our own manpower, sound equipment, and decor, so you do not need to worry about the logistics.
- Performing Arts: Our musical productions, like our annual Ram-Leela, are fully immersive experiences. We handle auditions, rehearsals, costumes, and the final stage show with custom audio-visual support.
- Heritage & Culture: We are passionate about bringing old stories to life. Our folk art workshops combine performance with hands-on craft sessions, ensuring children not only watch the art but also create it themselves.
- Community Festivals: From Ganpati making workshops to curated music evenings, we believe festivals should be about the 'sangam' (coming together) of people. We handle the planning and execution, allowing you to participate in the joy.
We believe good always triumphs over evil, and that is why we put so much heart into our storytelling and drama sessions. If you are looking for an event that leaves everyone humming tunes and talking about the experience for weeks, we are here to help you make it happen.
Wondershop
We started Wondershop because we wanted to create a space where art, music, and storytelling could bring families and communities together. We don’t just run workshops; we build a group of kids and parents who love to get their hands messy and create something meaningful, whether it is a festive musical or an ancient art form.
