Magical Stories & Make-Believe Sessions for Toddlers
We turn classic stories into living adventures. Through puppetry, music, and sensory play, we help your child step inside the world of their favourite books.
We went on a jungle adventure based on the book "Monkey Puzzle." Through themed sensory play and creative challenges, the children helped the little monkey find his mom, learning about problem-solving along the way.
Our musical story presentation of "Giraffes Can't Dance" was a huge hit. The children listened to the story, danced to their own rhythm, and even decorated giraffe cupcakes.
A group of parents and children listen intently during our "Hola Gruffalo" event. I use expressive storytelling to captivate the children's attention and draw them into the world of the book.
The adventure begins! I love taking our story sessions outdoors, leading the children on a walk through the "deep dark wood" to find the Gruffalo.
After the story, the learning continues with themed activities. Here, children and parents are sitting down for a Gruffalo-inspired craft session, extending the magic of the book.
Look at the concentration! Children use natural materials and playdough to create their own Gruffalo characters, a wonderful activity for fine motor skill development.
Music and singing are a huge part of my storytelling. An outdoor sing-along gets everyone involved and brings the characters from the story to life.
A full house for our "Hola Gruffalo" event. It's wonderful to see so many families gathered together, completely absorbed in the magic of a shared story.
Everyone gets involved in the actions! Parents and children wave their "terrible claws" along with the story, making it a truly interactive and memorable experience.
A 'Star Parent' uses a Peppa Pig puppet to tell a story, much to the delight of the children. Puppets are a fantastic tool for engaging young learners and making storytime more dynamic.
About Magical Stories & Make-Believe
We don’t just read books, we live them. Whether we are hunting for the Gruffalo in our garden or dancing like giraffes, every session includes tactile crafts and sensory setups that turn passive listening into active, imaginative play. It is about building vocabulary and confidence through hands-on fun that stays with your child long after the story ends.
At Wonderland, storytelling is the heartbeat of our curriculum. We know that young children learn best when they are fully immersed in the narrative, which is why we break down the walls of the classroom to bring stories to life.
Our sessions are designed to engage all senses. When we read 'The Gruffalo', we are not just sitting in a circle, we are walking through the 'deep dark wood' in our outdoor space in Chanakyapuri. When 'Monkey Puzzle' is the theme, we use sensory bins to help our little ones problem-solve. By connecting reading to movement, music, and craft, we help toddlers build lasting literacy skills without it ever feeling like a lesson.
The best part is that this is not a solo act. We regularly invite parents to join as 'Star Parents,' bringing their own puppets or props to narrate. Seeing a parent read to their child in a group setting creates such a powerful bond for the little ones. From 'Giraffes Can't Dance' rhythm sessions to alien crafts inspired by 'The Darkest Dark', we ensure that every storytime helps your child express, explore, and grow. This is where early literacy meets real-world play, and we would love for your family to be part of the adventure.
Wonderland
We are the team behind Wonderland, and we believe every day is a chance for a new adventure. We love seeing the look of wonder on a child's face when a storybook character comes to life right here in our Chanakyapuri space.
