Magical Storytelling Sessions for Kids in Delhi NCR

From the world of Julia Donaldson, here's the story of Superworm! I use the book's fun rhymes and energetic narrative to get the kids to wriggle and squirm along with the story. Hip hip hooray for Superworm!

'Dear Zoo' by Rod Campbell is a fantastic lift-the-flap book that I love to narrate. The kids get so excited to see which animal the zoo has sent next, from a grumpy camel to a perfect puppy.

The 'Selfish Crocodile' is a wonderful story with a great moral about sharing and kindness. I use my most dramatic voices to tell the tale of how a little mouse helped the big, grumpy crocodile.

Let's go on a bear hunt! This story by Michael Rosen is an adventure in itself. I get the kids to act out all the sounds and motions, from swishy-swashy grass to squelchy-squerchy mud.

Pop-up books are a fantastic way to make a story interactive. Here, I'm reading 'Pop-up Peekaboo Under the Sea', where we play hide-and-seek with a stripy fish and all her ocean friends.

The adventure continues as Stripy Fish finds an octopus in a treasure chest and a seahorse behind the caves. The pop-up surprises in this book always get a great reaction from the kids.

This is the beginning of the story of 'Hansmukh Rakshas', a friendly monster named Karimugga. I use paper puppets to introduce the characters and set the scene for this heartwarming tale.

For Shivratri, I shared a tale about Maa Shakti and Lord Shiva. Storytelling is a wonderful way to introduce children to cultural and mythological stories in an engaging and memorable format.
