Movement and Gentle Gymnastics Classes for Toddlers
We build physical foundation through guided play. Watch your toddler explore balance, coordination, and strength in our safe, parent-accompanied sessions designed for early development.
An overview of our interactive parent-child movement sessions. You can see toddlers navigating obstacle courses with their parents' help, developing balance and following simple instructions in a playful way.
Balance is a key skill we focus on. Here, children practice walking on a low beam while holding a ball, an exercise that challenges their coordination and focus with the safety and encouragement of our instructors.
This ring toss activity is a perfect example of learning through play. It sharpens hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills as toddlers figure out how to place the rings, all while being guided by a parent or instructor.
Our outdoor sessions are full of energy. Parents are deeply involved, helping their toddlers through obstacle courses with hoops and cones, building physical confidence and trust.
Our instructors guide children through foundational gymnastic movements. This includes warm-ups with hoops and assisted exercises on mats to build core strength and flexibility from a very young age.
Look at the concentration on their faces. This cone-stepping exercise helps toddlers master balance and coordination, key elements of physical development that we build upon in every class.
A glimpse into the variety of our movement stations. Children are seen balancing on textured pods to collect balls and stepping over obstacles, all with instructor assistance to ensure safety and proper form.
We use soft, modular equipment to create exciting obstacle courses that encourage climbing, crawling, and jumping. A high-five from an instructor at the end celebrates their effort and builds their self-esteem.
Our classes focus on developing gross motor skills in a fun way. You can see children running through cone drills, balancing on beams to pick up objects, and pushing large, soft equipment to build strength.
Building upper body strength is fun on the gymnastics bar. With full support from our instructors, even our youngest members get to hang, swing, and pull themselves up, feeling like superheroes.
About Movement & Gentle Gymnastics
It is not just about kids moving around; it is about structured gross motor development. During our hour-long sessions, we use soft-play equipment to challenge your child's balance and grip in a controlled environment. Parents stay on the mats, acting as the primary anchor for their child, which helps build trust and makes the learning process much less intimidating for a toddler.
Our program at Wonder Beans Gym in Indore is built on the philosophy that early childhood movement is a foundational skill for life. We do not just set up obstacle courses; we curate environments that engage both the logical and creative sides of the brain. When a toddler navigates a low balance beam or crawls through a tunnel, they are learning spatial awareness, problem-solving, and physical coordination simultaneously.
Why parent-accompanied sessions work
For children aged 10 months to 2.5 years, the presence of a parent on the mat is crucial. It transforms the session into a bonding opportunity. When your child feels secure with you nearby, they are more willing to try a new climb or a sensory activity. We facilitate this with a 1:4 teacher-to-child ratio, ensuring that every child gets the support they need to master these foundational movements safely.
What to expect in a session
Our facility at Race Course Road uses high-quality, impact-absorbing EVA mats to ensure safety. We break our 60-minute classes into distinct cycles:
- Gross Motor Skills (20 mins): Utilizing wedges, tunnels, and beams to challenge muscle control.
- Sensory & Fine Motor (35 mins): Engaging hands and fingers to improve precision and tactile exploration.
- Closing Ritual (5 mins): Singing and calming down, which helps transition the child back to regular play.
Whether it is learning to roll or simply walking a straight line, we prioritize progress over performance. We want your child to associate physical activity with joy and curiosity, not pressure.
