Festivals and Celebrations for Toddlers
We turn every festival into a learning adventure. From Janmashtami to Holi, we explore our cultural roots through messy art, music, and joyful movement.
We blend modern learning with our cultural roots, making celebrations like Janmashtami extra special. Our little ones dressed up, explored festive decorations, and engaged in themed play, creating beautiful memories with their families.
Our Holi celebration is all about safe, messy fun. Children get to explore colors with their hands and feet in a controlled environment, getting comfortable with new textures and sensations.
The fun continues with more Holi activities. The entire space is decorated with balloons and streamers, and children are seen playing with colors and participating in themed crafts at the table.
A look at our Holi party setup, where we encourage getting messy. Parents and children are seen painting, playing with colors on the floor, and enjoying the festive, creative atmosphere together.
This is what a child-led Holi celebration looks like. We encourage the children to get messy and explore the colors at their own pace, helping them get used to the sensory experience in a positive way.
About Festivals & Celebrations
During our Holi celebrations, we create controlled, child-safe sensory zones where little ones explore textures using safe, non-toxic colors. This goes beyond a simple party; it is a dedicated sensory session where we encourage kids to get messy, helping them overcome hesitation and build confidence through touch and discovery.
At Wonder Beans Gym, we believe festivals are the perfect hook for holistic development. We do not just celebrate; we use these moments to teach your child about our traditions in a way that makes sense to them.
Why We Celebrate
For children aged 10 months to 2.5 years, the world is all about sensory input. Our festival events, like our popular Janmashtami sessions, mix music, storytelling, and movement. Your child might be dressing up as a little Krishna, but underneath the fun, they are engaging in social interaction, fine motor tasks, and circle time that helps them settle into group environments.
What Happens in a Session
- Messy Play: Whether it is Holi with colors or creative painting for other events, we use our EVA matted floors to make clean-up easy, so you can focus on the giggles.
- Cultural Connection: We introduce simple shlokas and stories about our festivals. It is our way of keeping roots alive without the pressure of formal learning.
- Parental Bonding: These are not drop-off events. We want you on the mats with us. Watching your child explore a sand-art station or play with themed sensory bins is how memories are built.
Safety and Comfort
We know that festivals can be overwhelming for little ones. That is why our sessions are capped at small group sizes. Our lead instructors and support coaches are always on hand to help your child navigate the sensory activities at their own pace. If your child is shy, we give them the space they need to observe before joining the messy fun.
