Here is a glimpse into our Level 1 phonics session. We use tools like alphabet flashcards to help young learners recognize letters, match upper and lower case, and master their sounds in a patient, one-on-one setting.
Our Phonics Fun program is structured to build skills step-by-step. We cover everything from letter sounds and blending to tricky words and spelling rules, ensuring a complete and thorough learning process.
We invite you to book a trial slot for our Phonics Fun class. This helps us understand your child's current level so we can place them in the right group to ensure they get the most out of our sessions.
Once children learn to read, our Book Club helps them learn to love reading. Through dramatic storytelling and related art activities, we make books an exciting and engaging part of their week.
About Phonics & Early Reading
We don’t teach children to guess words; we teach them to decode. Our methodology focuses on the 42 letter sounds, using tactile tools like sandpaper letters and finger-tracing to build reading mechanics from the ground up. Whether your child is just starting with letter sounds or needs to master blending for CVC words, our approach ensures they understand the logic of English, not just the rote memorization of books.

Many early reading programs rely on repetition, but that often leads to frustration when a child encounters a new word they haven't seen before. At Wonder Beans Gym, our Phonics Fun program is different. Guided by a UK-certified curriculum, we prioritize phonemic awareness—the ability to identify and manipulate sounds.
Our Methodology
We structure our 24-session modules to ensure steady, measurable progress:
- Multi-Sensory Learning: We use visual aids, auditory songs, and kinesthetic tools (like our sandpaper letter tracing) to make sure information sticks for different types of learners.
- Blending and Segmenting: This is the core of reading fluency. We teach children to blend letter sounds to read words and segment words to spell them, giving them the 'code' to unlock any book.
- Tricky Words: We tackle non-phonetic sight words directly, so children stop guessing and start reading confidently.
- Small Group Focus: With small batches in our Indore centers (Race Course Road, New Palasia, and Nipania), your child gets individual attention to correct pronunciation and build articulation skills.
