About Family & Milestones
When I shoot a milestone event like a first birthday, I don't set up rigid poses. I spend the time following your child's energy, capturing the cake smash, the curious look at the decor, and the genuine relief when you realize you don't need to control every second to get a great photo.
Beyond the Posed Portrait
Family photography often feels like a checklist, but that is not my approach. Whether it is a first birthday, a maternity session, or a quiet anniversary, my goal is to document the actual dynamics of your family. You will not find me asking your toddler to 'say cheese' or standing your family in stiff lines for an hour.
My Approach to Milestones
For birthday and milestone events, I typically opt for a four-hour window. This duration allows us to capture the build-up—the candid details of the decor, the excitement of family members arriving, and the quiet, intimate moments that happen when you think the camera is off. Working in the Mountains
Home base is Himachal, and I am deeply familiar with venues across Shimla, Manali, and Dharamshala. However, I often travel for shoots. Whether we are planning an outdoor maternity session with a mountain backdrop or a birthday party in a city venue, I bring the same cinematic, natural-light aesthetic.
