Cinematic Portrait Photography for Couples and Individuals
Portraits are not about holding a perfect pose. They are about capturing the stillness, the quiet confidence, and the genuine emotion before the celebration begins.

About Additional Portraits
Most people feel uncomfortable when they see a camera pointing at them. That is why my portrait sessions are not about stiff posing instructions. I prefer to keep you moving, talking, or simply reflecting, which allows me to capture those natural expressions that feel authentic rather than rehearsed. Whether it is a quiet moment in a hotel room or a candid look on a mountain trail, the goal is for the photo to feel like a real memory.
My Approach to Portraits
I believe a portrait should tell a story. When I photograph a groom or a bride, I am not just looking for a clean background. I am looking for the light that hits your face, the way you carry yourself, and the anticipation in your expression. My style is cinematic, which means I use natural light and moody color grading to give your photos depth and warmth.
Why Mini-Sessions Work
If you are worried about the commitment of a full day, my 2-hour mini-sessions are designed to cut through the noise. We pick one location—a quiet forest spot, a heritage room, or a city cafe—and spend two hours getting comfortable. This timeframe is usually enough to get 40-50 high-quality images where you look like yourself, not a model struggling to hold a smile.
The Technical Side
Beyond just the framing, I focus on the technical details that separate a snapshot from a professional portrait. I rely heavily on natural light to keep the skin tones looking real. For more dramatic results, I bring portable lighting kits, especially if we are shooting in the unpredictable weather of the hills or in dimly lit interiors.
Planning Your Shoot
If you have a specific vibe in mind—perhaps a vintage aesthetic or a raw, minimalist look—let me know during our consultation. I can guide you on wardrobe colors that pop against our backdrops and help select the right location. Whether you are in Shimla, Manali, or visiting from out of town, we can create a narrative that is entirely yours.
