Vibrant Haldi and Mehandi Ceremonies
Haldi and Mehandi ceremonies are where the real energy of a wedding lives. I capture the spontaneous laughter, the beautiful chaos of the rituals, and the quiet moments between the celebrations.

About Vibrant Pre-Wedding Ceremonies
I do not look for perfection in these shoots. I look for the smear of haldi that did not quite land where it was meant to, the shared glances, and the way your family actually interacts when the cameras are not the main focus. It is about how the light hits your backyard or the resort lawn during those few hours, turning a simple ritual into a story you will want to look back on.
Haldi and Mehandi ceremonies are rarely as polished as the main wedding day, and that is exactly why I love them. You are surrounded by family, emotions are high, and everything is moving fast. My job is to blend into that energy. Whether we are shooting in the open gardens of a Shimla resort or a private home in Manali, I prioritize natural light and authentic interaction.
I do not ask you to hold a pose for five minutes while the haldi dries. I watch for the candid laughter when someone gets a little too messy, the way your parents look at you, and the intricate henna designs catching the sun. If it rains, or if the light shifts, I adapt. That unpredictability adds layers to the story that a staged shoot simply cannot replicate.
I also focus heavily on the details that define the event, like the specific floral arrangements, the textures of your outfits, and the way the venue is styled. I want the final collection of photos to feel like a narrative, not just a series of random snapshots. We discuss your preference for candid versus posed shots before the day begins, so you can spend your time celebrating, not worrying about the camera.
