Grand Entrances & Magical Walkways
The first impression sets the mood for your entire celebration. I design welcoming entrances and enchanting pathways that guide your guests into the heart of the event, using everything from soft fairy light canopies to custom floral arches.
Making a grand entrance is a moment you will never forget. Here, we created a magical pathway with a canopy of fairy lights and perfectly timed cold pyrotechnics for the couple's reception entry, making their walk feel like a scene from a movie.
Lighting is key to creating a magical atmosphere. This video shows how we transformed a simple walkway into an enchanting entrance with draped fabrics, floral arrangements, and strings of warm fairy lights, setting a welcoming tone for the evening's celebration.
A tunnel of fairy lights creates an unforgettable entrance for an evening event. This setup, with a floral arch at the beginning, makes guests feel like they are walking into a different world.
A classy and elegant welcome sign sets the tone for a wedding. This entrance features a beautifully designed sign with the couple's monogram, framed by a stunning pink floral arch at the Farmhouse Collective.
This welcome arch for an evening event combines a floral arch with a beautifully lit welcome easel and surrounding decor, creating a warm and inviting focal point as guests arrive.
A close-up look at how a simple bundle of fairy lights is used to create a dreamy, lit-up passage. It's these simple components that come together to create a magical effect.
This video shows the beautiful wedding vibes created by a pathway lit with fairy lights against the evening sky, guiding guests toward the main celebration area.
About this collection
Before picking an elaborate arch, I always look at the natural flow of your venue. Whether it is a garden pathway lined with fairy lights or an existing staircase we can highlight with floral arrangements, we work with what the space gives us. A grand entrance should not feel like a separate, forced piece; it should feel like it belongs to the venue from the start.
The walk from the parking area to your main celebration space is your guest's first interaction with your wedding. It sets the tone before they even see the stage or the food. In my experience planning weddings across Bangalore, I have found that you do not always need a massive setup to create impact. Often, simple touches like soft fairy light tunnels or a well-placed welcome easel with fresh floral accents do more for the atmosphere than an expensive, heavy structure.
When we plan these walkways, I consider two main factors: lighting and comfort. If it is an evening event, lighting is everything. We use fairy light canopies or warm, directed spotlights to guide guests so they feel safe and comfortable while walking. For day events, we focus on fresh marigolds, jasmine, or banana leaf installations that catch the natural light.
I also look at the existing architecture of your venue. If your space has trees, we hang florals from them. If it has a staircase, we line it with flowers and candles. My process usually starts with a recce of your venue to see what we can enhance. We don't just add decor; we highlight the parts of your venue that already feel special. Whether you want a dramatic entry with cold pyrotechnics or a serene, floral-lined path, we make sure it reflects the vibe of the rest of your shaadi.

I am Sharmilla. When I plan a wedding, I do not just look at the stage—I look at the path guests take to get there. It is those few moments when a guest walks in that tell them exactly what kind of celebration they are about to have, and I love making that feeling right.
