We work with the soul of a space, not just its walls. From 200-year-old Thottimanes to quiet heritage homes, our designs honor the history of your venue with antique brass, fresh marigolds, and thoughtful traditional styling.

I love bringing a traditional mandap to life in a heritage setting. Here, at a 240-year-old Thottimane, we used antique wooden pillars, bougainvillea, and hanging floral strings to create a sacred and beautiful space.

A wider view of the Thottimane courtyard wedding. The central mandap is the star, surrounded by low seating with bright pink cushions, allowing guests to be fully immersed in the traditional ceremony.

The seating arrangement for the Thottimane wedding. We combined modern benches with traditional floor seating, using vibrant pink cushions to add a pop of color against the venue's rustic architecture.

Details that honor tradition. A brass lotus bowl filled with fresh rose petals sits at the base of a wooden pillar, with jasmine and rose garlands hanging from the ceiling.

Accessorizing a 75-year-old heritage home in God's Own Country. Simple, elegant marigold garlands adorn the facade, enhancing the traditional Kerala architecture without overpowering it.

A grand floral entrance made entirely of yellow marigolds. This was created for the 75-year-old heritage home, providing a vibrant and auspicious welcome for the wedding guests.

A regal photo corner for a traditional wedding. We used a backdrop of pink fabric with brass bells, vintage furniture like an antique gramophone, and lots of brass artifacts to create this rich, textured look.

About this collection

Working in heritage homes requires a delicate balance between style and logistics. Because these venues were not originally designed for large modern weddings, we prioritize technical floor planning to ensure guest flow remains smooth, making sure the historic architecture, not the decor, remains the main attraction.

When we take on a heritage wedding, our first step is to listen to the venue. Whether it is a traditional Thottimane in Kerala or an ancestral estate in the hills, the goal is to accentuate the existing features rather than covering them up. We rely on organic, traditional elements—vintage brass lamps, marigold garlands, and locally sourced blooms—that feel like they have always belonged in the space.

Our Approach to Heritage Spaces

  • Non-Invasive Setup: We avoid heavy structures that require drilling or structural alterations. Our lighting and floral installations are designed to work with the venue’s existing wooden pillars and rooflines.
  • Respecting Flow: These venues often have unique layouts with central courtyards. We create floor plans that keep the ceremony at the heart of the home while ensuring catering and guest seating do not clutter the sightlines.
  • Authentic Elements: We curate props like antique gramophones, brass lotus bowls, and wooden artifacts to match the era of the venue, creating a cohesive visual narrative.

We know that working in these locations comes with constraints—limited power sources, sensitive flooring, and unique spatial restrictions. Our team manages the logistics of setting up infrastructure, such as silent generators and catering zones, without disrupting the tranquility of the property. For us, a heritage wedding is about honoring the history of the site while making it functional and comfortable for your guests.
