Sacred Traditions Reimagined: Temple-Inspired Wedding Decor
We blend the soul of South Indian temple heritage with contemporary design, creating sacred spaces that feel both timeless and deeply personal.
An opulent display for Anant and Radhika’s Raas Garba, where a magnificent swan crafted from flowers sits amongst tiered brass lamps and lush floral arrangements. This setting was part of a larger design celebrating divine love with traditional Indian decor elements.
A sacred corner designed for a sunrise wedding, featuring an array of traditional brass lamps (diyas), a beautifully detailed Kamadhenu statue, and pearl-studded hangings. Every element was chosen to evoke the sanctity of a South Indian temple ceremony.
This color palette, named "Divya Stambh," was the foundation for a South Indian temple-themed event. Each color, from the sacred "Chandan Vastra" beige to the powerful "Kumkum Rekha" red, was chosen to echo divinity, craftsmanship, and tradition.
A close-up of a traditional South Indian garland, meticulously handwoven from coconut leaves, jasmine, and firecracker flowers. This type of detailed floral craftsmanship is a signature element I use to bring authenticity and beauty to wedding decor.
This video showcases the grandeur of bringing South Indian decor to a North Indian setting. It highlights the intricate elegance of brass artifacts, temple lamps, and traditional floral arrangements that I use to create an authentic and majestic wedding atmosphere.
A cascade of antique temple bells hangs against a vibrant orange backdrop featuring a tree-of-life motif. This installation was part of my "Divya Stambh" concept, designed to immerse guests in the sights and sounds of a traditional temple sanctuary.
A collection of ornate brass lamps and a lotus-shaped candle holder, key elements in my South Indian heritage decor. These pieces are not just decorative; they carry symbolic weight and add a warm, divine glow to wedding ceremonies.
About this collection
When we build these temple-inspired spaces, we do not just place items; we observe the specific light of your venue. Whether you choose our 'Divya Stambh' concept with its deep brass tones or the 'Pastel Panchangam' style, we calibrate the installation to ensure the brass lamps and floral garlands do not just fill space, but interact with your ceremony’s natural flow.
We view tradition as a living, breathing concept rather than a set of static rules. When we work with temple aesthetics, we deconstruct the familiar—brass lamps, lotus motifs, woven jasmine—to see how they sit within a modern venue, whether it is a hotel ballroom in Bengaluru or a beachside setting in Mahabalipuram.
Our 'Divya Stambh' concept, for instance, focuses on the interplay of light and texture, using traditional pillars not as background props but as structural anchors that frame the ceremony. We prioritize local sourcing, working with craft councils to ensure the brass elements feel grounded, not mass-produced. If you are planning a ceremony and want to honour your roots without it feeling like a period drama, we help you find that balance.
We do not believe in overfilling a space; we focus on the interplay between the 'Chandan Vastra' beige of our foundation and the deep 'Kumkum Rekha' red accents to create depth. It is about quiet luxury, where the focus remains on the rituals and the people participating in them. From the heavy weight of antique bells to the delicate scent of fresh lotus, every element serves the larger story of your wedding day.
