Inclusive Building Workshops for All Abilities
We create sensory-friendly, open-ended play spaces where children build, explore, and connect using simple wooden planks.
This is what our community looks like. Kids, parents, and facilitators all sharing a moment of creation at an inclusive play session. There are no rules, just a shared space for collaboration and hands-on learning.
BRAIN GYM! This spiral structure shows the balance between the logical left brain and the creative right brain. Our STEAM-focused activities help participants relax their nervous systems and enter a state of flow, all while learning complex principles of engineering and design.
NATURAL INTELLIGENCE! The pride on a child's face after recreating complex structures is immense. Through imitation and visualization, participants build confidence and see their ideas take physical form, reinforcing their natural ability to learn and solve problems.
BEHAVIOR! We help channel impatience and restlessness into productive, focused activity. Here, a facilitator provides gentle support as a young builder concentrates intensely, redirecting his energy into a task that improves focus and leads to more balanced behavior.
This is what working together looks like. We see kids building steps, ramps, and towers, sometimes solo and sometimes with a new friend. It’s pure joy to see them so engrossed, building bridges between communities and mindsets.
LOGIC & REASONING! Building this bridge required teamwork to analyze stability, cantilever principles, and symmetry. Our workshops are a brain gym where participants break down complex problems into manageable parts, developing the critical thinking skills needed for effective decision making.
PROBLEM SOLVING! Watch the process of building a spiral tower, a perfect example of macro and micro analysis. The builder maintains the overall spiral shape while ensuring each small set of blocks is perfectly placed, developing precision and strategic thinking.
About this collection
Every session follows a 1:4 mentor ratio, ensuring that whether a child is neurotypical or neurodiverse, they have the support to explore at their own pace. We use only smooth-sanded, chemically untreated pine planks, providing a safe, consistent sensory experience that lets imagination lead rather than rigid instructions.
At our core, we believe play is the most natural way to learn. Whether at a large-scale event like Mitra Habba or a quiet studio workshop, our focus remains on the process, not the final structure. Children develop fine motor skills and spatial reasoning by gravity-stacking our planks, a practice that builds resilience because every fall is just an opportunity to rebuild. Our sessions are designed to be sensory-regulated 🧠. By removing the pressure of goal-oriented tasks, we create a space where neurodiverse participants can engage comfortably, often using non-verbal communication to collaborate with peers. It is a genuine brain gym where logic, patience, and creativity meet 🧩. We are based in Yelahanka New Town and travel across Bengaluru to bring this experience to schools and community centers. No screens, no connectors, just planks. Come see how we bridge the gap between creative expression and analytical thinking.
Build-It
We are a team of educators who believe that simple wooden planks are the best tool for sparking imagination. We have watched countless children find their flow state in our workshops and would love to help your child find theirs too.
