About Our Creative Community
Every workshop session is designed for small, manageable groups, so your child gets the direct support they need to handle real tools safely. We prioritize the process over perfection, which means our studio stays a bit messy—and that’s exactly where the real learning happens.
Why We Are A Maker Space, Not A Classroom
At Little Wings, we believe that understanding comes from doing. Whether it’s building a mechanical catapult, programming a robot, or trying fluid art, our studio in Vidyaranyapura is set up for kids to experiment, break things, and fix them.
What to expect in our sessions:
- Real Tools, Real Skills: Kids learn to use sandpaper, glue guns, and basic mechanics. We guide them, but they build the projects themselves.
- Mixed Age Engagement: While workshops are grouped by age, our community thrives on the shared energy of kids from 4 to 14 collaborating on different levels.
- Focus on Process: We don't just produce 'perfect' take-home models. We focus on the 'I made this' confidence that comes from troubleshooting an axle or balancing a puppet.
The Parent-Child Connection
Sometimes, the best way for a child to learn is alongside a parent. We regularly host family sessions where adults can jump in, learn alongside their child, and see the creative process unfold firsthand. It’s a great way to disconnect from screens and reconnect over a project.
