About A Day at Water Town: A Look Inside Our Classes
If your child is under five, you will be right there in the pool with them. You are an active participant, handling your little one during submersion practice while our certified trainers guide the safety drills. This format builds a secure environment, helping your baby transition from day one anxiety to water confidence.
Our classes follow a structured, US-based syllabus that focuses on core water safety skills, including back floats, rollovers, and reaching the pool wall. We do not just teach strokes; we teach survival. Each thirty-minute session at our Andaz Hotel facility is carefully managed, with small groups of no more than seven students to ensure every child gets the attention they need.
You will notice that we do not force learning. Instead, we hide techniques inside games like Humpty Dumpty or bear hunts. When a child is busy chasing a floating ball or learning a new song, they forget to be afraid. We use gentle, consistent commands like 'Turn, turn, turn' to build muscle memory without the pressure. Chalo practice karo, and keep going.
Hygiene is non-negotiable. Our pools are robot-cleaned, pH-balanced, and kept at a temperature comfortable for infants as young as four months. If the water quality is not perfect, we do not run the class. This ensures that you and your baby can focus entirely on the lessons and the special bonding time in the water.
Water Town
We started Water Town because kids needed safe, structured swim classes that did not feel like a chore. We use games and songs to turn nervous toddlers into confident swimmers, and seeing that progress is the best part of our job.
