A collection of our work where Kerala heritage meets modern design. From luxury resorts and restaurants to commercial landmarks, we design spaces that tell a story.

This collage captures the Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa in Kumarakom, a project that embodies my approach to luxury resort architecture. The design integrates traditional Kerala aesthetics with modern comforts, creating a serene retreat that is both grand in scale and intimately connected to its lush, natural surroundings.

For Restaurant Chef Pillai in Calicut, I designed a space woven with heritage. This video shows how we translated vintage charm into a tangible dining experience, using traditional wooden elements, classic furniture, and a layout that feels both elegant and welcoming.

This before-and-after transformation of Azhak Saloon showcases my ability to turn a raw space into a luxurious and functional commercial interior. Witness how we crafted an atmosphere of modern elegance with custom fixtures, sophisticated lighting, and a layout designed for a premium client experience.

The magic of a space is often revealed at twilight. This video of the Gokulam Grand Resort highlights the interplay of architectural lighting, water, and landscaping, creating an enchanting atmosphere that defines luxury hospitality design.

This is my design for the Oasis Mall in Koothuparambu, showcasing a vision for modern commercial architecture. The concept features a dynamic, curved facade with an integrated green lattice, blending retail functionality with a striking, nature-inspired aesthetic to create a landmark destination.

My work extends beyond India, as seen in this lounge from the Shebran Wellness Resort in Azerbaijan. The design merges modern minimalism with rich, traditional textiles, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable space for guests to relax and socialize.

This montage displays the variety in my restaurant design portfolio, featuring several locations for the esteemed Chef Pillai. Each space, from Kochi to Trivandrum, is uniquely tailored to its location while maintaining a signature elegance and a focus on the customer's dining journey.

I am Vinay Mohan, the principal architect and founder. I believe every space has a story to tell, and my role is to bring that story to life with passion and precision, whether it's a grand resort or an intimate home.

About Featured

We do not just build structures. We weave traditional Kerala elements, like laterite stone, exposed wood, and open courtyards, into modern commercial and hospitality spaces. Whether it is a resort in Kumarakom or a retail outlet in Bangalore, my goal is to create environments that are both functional and deeply rooted in a sense of place.

We believe the first impression is a lasting one. This lobby in Surat was designed to evoke a sense of grand arrival, where opulent materials and sculptural forms converge to set a tone of understated luxury. The interplay of metallic arches, ambient lighting, and curated art establishes a powerful identity for the space.10
This living space in Upper Juhu, Mumbai, is a study in contrasts, designed for a young, sophisticated couple. We balanced the industrial feel of raw concrete with a bold, colourful accent wall and curated abstract art, creating an environment that is both refined and full of personality. The design seamlessly integrates areas for relaxation and social engagement.
For the EVE restaurant in Powai, we crafted an atmosphere of nostalgic comfort and vintage charm. This view of the bar highlights our use of natural textures like rattan and woven light fixtures to create a warm, inviting social hub. The design encourages connection, making it a space people want to return to.
This duplex terrace in Surat offers an oasis of contemporary calm with expansive views of the Tapi River. We designed this outdoor space as a seamless extension of the interior, using a wooden pergola and minimalist furniture to create a sophisticated area for relaxation and entertainment, blurring the lines between inside and out.

The entrance to a home should be a statement of what lies within. This intricately carved main door, crafted from solid wood, is the centerpiece of a Kerala-inspired residence, showcasing our passion for custom woodwork and traditional detailing.7
We believe lighting is sculpture. This large-scale, custom chandelier serves as the dramatic focal point in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel, demonstrating our ability to design and execute grand, experiential hospitality spaces.
A look at the reception and waiting area for Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital. We used sleek, curved forms and layered lighting to create a modern, calming, and professional environment that puts patients at ease from the moment they arrive.
A grand staircase is more than a functional element; it is the heart of the home. This sweeping marble staircase with ornate, custom-designed golden railings creates a sense of arrival and timeless luxury in a residential project.

This is where the magic happens after sunset. For the Amberle farmhouse, I designed a custom lighting scheme with subtle LEDs under the steps to create an inviting glow, transforming the garden into an enchanting space that beckons you outdoors.8
I believe landscape architecture can create a legacy. For 'The Palace Promised', I designed a landscape of pure grandeur, with manicured lawns and classical stone details that complement the magnificent scale of this 30,000 sq. ft. masterpiece.
This is a preview of 'Zen Oasis', a contemporary residence where the landscape and architecture are one. The design uses clean lines and large glass openings to blur the boundary between the lush exterior and the serene interior living spaces.
My philosophy is to work with nature, not against it. At the 'Grid in the Grove' farmhouse, the entire design was built around the existing coconut grove, creating a rustic, Hampi-inspired retreat that feels completely integrated with its surroundings.

The magic of a New York City evening from our One40 Rooftop restaurant project. We designed this space to capture the city's energy, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the glittering skyline, creating an unforgettable dining atmosphere.

This indoor courtyard is the heart of the home, featuring a traditional wooden swing, a small water body, and lush greenery. The space is designed with jali screens and an open staircase, allowing natural light and air to flow freely, creating a tranquil atmosphere that connects the interior with nature.8
A modern living area designed for comfort and style. The room features a bold orange sofa, a textured concrete accent wall with diagonal grooves, and contemporary lighting fixtures, creating a vibrant yet sophisticated space for relaxation and socializing.
This bedroom design uses a palette of dark, earthy tones to create a cozy and intimate retreat. A wood-planked ceiling and custom wooden wall art add warmth and texture, while the large glass doors open to a private balcony, blending the indoor and outdoor environments.

The Hamsa Resort in Manali features a modern glass and steel facade that reflects the surrounding Himalayan peaks. This design choice creates a direct visual dialogue between the structure and its environment, while the building itself incorporates traditional Kathkuni construction principles.
At the Evoo restaurant in Gurugram, the open kitchen is framed as a stage for culinary performance. The structure of exposed concrete and steel defines the space, creating an industrial aesthetic that complements the modern Italian dining experience.
The interior of the Gaurav Gupta couture store in New Delhi was conceived as a sculpted cavern. Raw concrete walls and strategically placed mirrors create a dramatic, gallery-like environment where the fashion pieces are displayed as artifacts.
