Bridal Makeovers, Traditional Styling & Cultural Shoots
From South Indian bridal transformations to divine-themed photoshoots, my work focuses on timeless elegance. This gallery showcases the complete looks I create by blending modern styling with our rich traditions.
A classic South Indian bridal look that radiates elegance. I focused on creating a flawless, glowing base for the makeup, paired with a traditional green and gold saree, intricate silver jewelry, and a neat floral bun to complete this timeless style.
This is the magic of a complete makeover. From natural and simple to a radiant bride ready for her big day, this transformation shows how I combine makeup, hair, and styling to create a cohesive and stunning final look.
Capturing divinity in its purest form. For our special kids' concept photoshoots at VN Studio, I handle everything from the makeup and traditional costumes to the final photography, creating a divine and memorable experience for your little one.
It was an absolute honor to get the lovely actress Priyanka Upendra ready. Hearing her kind words about my work is truly rewarding and motivates me to continue my passion for making every woman feel beautiful.
A classic bridal bun is the epitome of royal elegance. Here, I've created a neat, tightly woven bun adorned with delicate pearls, perfectly complementing the bride's ornate blouse and creating a sophisticated silhouette.
The art of saree draping is about creating perfect pleats and a graceful fall. This video shows how I transform a beautiful saree into a perfectly draped outfit, ensuring my client feels comfortable and confident. It's that simple.
Here is a simple trick, a 'sulabha vidhana', for creating a flawless, thick braid, especially when working with hair extensions. This technique ensures there are no baby hairs sticking out, resulting in a clean and traditional look.
The most beautiful moments are the ones filled with emotion. Seeing the joy on a mother's face as she sees her daughter as a bride is why I love what I do. It’s a privilege to be part of such precious family memories.
About Featured
Draping a heavy Kanjeevaram silk saree can be stressful on your big day, but I make it ashte simple. I use a signature box-fold technique to pre-set your pleats, ensuring your pallu stays secure and crisp for hours. This method allows you to move freely through wedding rituals without worrying about your drape falling out of place.
My approach, which I call Kesh n Vastrakala, treats makeup, hair, and saree draping as one cohesive art form. When you come to me for a bridal makeover, we start with a consultation to match your vision with the right products. For makeup, I use high-definition, sweat-resistant bases like MAC or Kryolan, paired with CTM skin prep so your look stays fresh even under heavy studio lights or ritual fires.
My hairstyling follows the same practical logic. If you have thin hair, I use synthetic extensions and natural floral arrangements—a sulabha vidhana (easy method) to get that classic, royal bun without causing you discomfort.
Beyond weddings, I run VN Studio for traditional children's photoshoots. I handle the entire process—makeup, costume rental, temple jewelry, and photography—so parents don't have to scramble to get their kids ready. Whether you need a simple party look for a pooja or a full bridal package, my goal is to share the knowledge and techniques I have gathered through my years in the industry. Everything I do is about keeping our traditions alive while making you feel like your best self.
