About Custom Paintings
Not Just Paint. It’s Personal.
I’m Varun, an engineer who never stopped drawing. I didn’t make it to art school, but I found my own way - each painting is a bit of my story and yours mixed together. I get ideas from everywhere - a funny family moment, how the light falls in the evening, or even just a random chat.
How I Work With You
We’ll talk about what you want. Could be a single photo, a mashup of memories, or just a vibe. Once I get a sense of your idea, I’ll sketch things out and we’ll tweak till it feels right. Sometimes, I go back and redo stuff because I’m picky - like, I once painted my nephew’s portrait twice because the first one didn’t look enough like him.
Mediums & Styles
- My main thing is acrylic canvas art - bold, detailed, and lasts long.
- Watercolor for softer feels, especially for portraits or cultural themed artwork like Kerala mural scenes.
- Love messing with abstract acrylic pours if you want something modern.
- Done some quirky stuff too, like painting on ceramic plates.
What I Paint
- Personalized portrait painting (solo, family, or pets - I’ve done quite a few pet memory paintings).
- Landscapes, special scenes, anything with a story.
- Spiritual art, classic cars, you name it.
Shipping & Reach
I’m based in Bangalore, but I ship worldwide. Careful packing, no stress about the art getting messed up on the way.
If you want art that’s not cookie cutter, let’s make something that actually means something to you.

My Story
Hey, I’m Varun. Engineer by degree, artist by heart. Missed JJ School, but never dropped the pencil. I started out sketching cars, now I’m deep into portraits and wild with colours. Raja Ravi Varma’s work hits home for me. I get my kicks from painting, heavy metal gigs (my neck still hurts), and seeing my art in print—especially the book I illustrated for my wife. Making people smile through my art? That’s the real win.
My Work
Custom Portraits & Art - I make pencil portraits, colour pencil portraits, acrylic paintings, digital art, caricatures, and oil paintings.
Story-Driven Commissions - I love projects with a story - like piecing together old wedding portraits or capturing family memories.
Portraits & Caricatures - Light, shadow, and personality. I do everything from realistic portraits to fun digital caricature art.
Book Illustration Artist - I illustrate for books too, bringing stories to life with line drawings and colour.
