We have paired our signature Channapatna wooden rattles, turned from medicinal Aale mara wood, with soft, hand-dyed kora cotton apparel from our friends at Sankalpa Art Village. Every fabric piece is dyed using plant-based ingredients like manjistha and harada, ensuring the only thing touching your baby is nature.

The rattles you see here use the 200-year-old Channapatna craft. We use Aale mara, an ivory wood known for being gentle, and finish it with non-toxic, natural dyes. There are no sharp edges or synthetic finishes. These are designed for tactile exploration.

The fabric components—bibs and tops—are a collaboration with Sankalpa Art Village. These women artisans dye the handloom kora cotton using nature-derived dyes like manjistha and katta. The applique designs are inspired by our own Channapatna toys, creating a cohesive set that bridges two distinct crafts.
