Every performance is a conversation, and you are the other half of that dialogue. Whether we are in an intimate hall in Bengaluru or at a festival in Bogotá, the magic happens in that shared space between the stage and the audience.

About Connecting with You: The Audience

When I’m on stage, I watch how the energy shifts—from the pin-drop silence during a Carnatic alapana to the roar of a crowd during a fusion set. It is not just about me playing notes; it is about reading that room in real-time. If you are planning an event, know that this connection is what I prioritise most, whether it is a quiet corporate gathering or a high-energy festival crowd.

Music is not a performance until someone else hears it. For me, that 'someone' is you. Whether we are doing a traditional Carnatic quartet or a 6-piece fusion band set, I am constantly looking at the audience, gauging the mood, and letting that dictate the flow of the set.

I do not follow a rigid script because no two rooms are the same. In a concert hall, we might lean into subtle, soulful improvisations where every breath is audible. In a festival setting, we dial up the rhythm and lean into those big, collective crescendos.

If you are looking to host me, think about the kind of 'conversation' you want to have with your guests. Do you want them seated and deeply listening, or do you want the energy to be high-octane? That choice shapes the soundscape we create together. It is about creating a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and part of the journey.

I am just a seeker of music who finds my greatest joy in the exchange of energy with you. My band and I are more than colleagues; we are a family who brings our roots, our spontaneity, and our love for sound to every single stage we step onto.
