About Live Music Performances
My Musical Journey
I grew up with music all around me, thanks to my Appa and Amma - my first gurus. Performing live is where I feel most alive, sharing moments with the audience that are honest and full of emotion. I always aim to bring pure intention and a love for sound, whether I'm singing or playing the flute.
What Happens On Stage
Every show is a mix of my Carnatic classical roots and the freedom of jazz, folk, and world music. Sometimes we dive into quiet, soulful spaces, and sometimes we go full-on with high-energy rhythms. My hope is for you to feel every bit of that rollercoaster - it’s never just a performance, it’s a conversation.
Types of Performances
- Traditional Carnatic concerts, with mridangam and violin, for that pure, classical feel.
- Carnatic fusion concerts where my vocals and flute blend with synths, drums, and bass - think dynamic, contemporary Indian music festival vibes.
- Big festival stages and global events, where my band and I love connecting with diverse crowds.
- Intimate private music gigs and corporate shows, bringing something special to your personal or professional event.
My Band & The Sound
I perform with a close group of musicians who are like family. Our setlists combine my original songs and classic Carnatic pieces. You’ll hear lyrics in Kannada too, like in ‘Jaathre’ - I love keeping my roots close.
Real Connection
I pour my heart into every note. My goal is to make every live band performance feel genuine, moving, and memorable. Music is how I connect, and I hope it means something real for you too.

My Story
Music is my first language - I was humming ragas before I could talk, Appa and Amma cheering me on. My first concert? I was this tiny kid more excited for promised ice cream than the stage, and my mom looked ready to bolt! Watching that old clip now, I see love everywhere - Gurus, family, friends. Tyagaraja’s words ring true: ‘Endaro mahaanubhaavulu - Andariki vandanamulu’ (To all the great souls, I bow to thee). Grammy nomination or not, for me, music is love. That’s it.
My Work
Live Concerts, Collaborations & Workshops - I do live band concerts, soulful indie collaborations, studio sessions, and music workshops on Carnatic improvisation.
My Sound - I mix Carnatic roots with Kannada fusion music, jazz, and global styles. People say it’s soul food, warm and comforting.
The 'Vari' Experience - My album ‘Vari’ is all about flow – it’s a live journey, sharing energy with my band and audience.
Music Education - I teach Carnatic music, making it accessible for international audiences and curious new learners.
