About Forging Champions: Race Day

Race day isn't the place to figure out your goggles or your stroke. We do that in training. My focus is on race-specific drills: sighting without breaking rhythm, managing bilateral breathing in rough currents, and holding your line when the water gets chaotic. You need to know how to pace yourself before you ever step onto the sand, because that is where the real work happens.
