Through our collaboration with CRY, we provide sensorially rich and therapeutic activities like painting and crafts to children across the country.

About Our Community Initiatives
When we visit CRY activity centers, we focus on setting up interactive stations designed for sensory exploration. From painting to learning rhythm on a xylophone, these hands-on activities build fine motor skills and offer a therapeutic outlet, ensuring every child feels capable and heard.
At Tugbug, we believe that play is not a luxury, but a developmental necessity. Our partnership with CRY (Child Rights and You) is rooted in the simple truth that when children have the space to create, they grow into confident, curious individuals.
We focus on 'Creators, Not Consumers.' In our community sessions, we move away from screens and structured lessons to focus on tactile experiences. We bring materials like non-toxic paints, wooden blocks, and musical instruments to activity centers, allowing children to express themselves freely.
Why Therapeutic Play Matters
- Sensory Engagement: Through pottery, painting, and music, children process emotions and build fine motor skills in a supportive environment.
- Confidence Building: Every completed craft or learned rhythm is a win. We celebrate these small successes to help kids build a positive self-image.
- Safe Expression: For children in challenging circumstances, our sessions provide a stable, joyful space to simply be kids—to get messy, make noise, and have fun.
Our facilitators manage these sessions with the same care and attention we bring to our main center, maintaining a 1:4 ratio to ensure every child receives personal encouragement. Whether it is learning the basics of a beat or mastering a paintbrush, we are there to facilitate the discovery.
