Hourly Drop-in Play & Maker's Zone
Access & Duration
- Time: 60 Minutes of unstructured play.
- Entry: Valid for 1 Child (Age 2+) + 1 Complimentary Adult.
- Staff: Facilitators (Didis) present to guide activities and handle cleanup (Ratio approx 1:4).
Maker's Space & Consumables
- Clay Station: Unlimited natural terracotta clay with manual wheels and sculpting tools (Wet clay work only).
- Painting: Easels, poster paints, brushes, and paper provided.
- Sandpit: Large indoor pit with hygienic river sand, wooden digging tools, and molds.
Amenities
- Apparel: Fabric aprons provided to protect clothing.
- Equipment: Sustainable, non-battery operated wooden toys and a reading nook.
Guided Science or Craft Workshop
Session Format
- Duration: 120 Minutes total (Approx. 45 mins guided workshop + remaining free play).
- Type: Structured learning followed by general zone access.
Activity Selection (Choose One)
- Science Lab: Collaboration with Wonderlab kits (e.g., Slime Making, Lava Lamps, or Magic Bath Bombs).
- Creative Arts: Block printing, T-shirt painting (includes 1 cotton T-shirt), or Mask Making.
- Pottery: Focused instruction on wheel throwing techniques.
Material & Takeaways
- Inclusions: All reagents, safety gear, fabric, and dyes provided.
- Take-home: Child keeps the completed science experiment or artistic creation.

Our Play Philosophy
At Tugbug, I see play as the real teacher for kids. My indoor play area is all about letting children unplug from screens and get their hands dirty with real stuff - crafts, sand, paint, and a bunch of sensory play activities. Kids here don’t just watch, they make and experiment, whether it’s pottery or wild science projects.
What You’ll Find Inside
- Maker’s space for kids: pottery, painting, block printing, weaving, and DIY crafts like T-shirt or tote bag designing.
- Sensory & Play Corner: giant sandpit, wooden toys, puzzles, and building blocks for those who love to construct or just dig around.
- Little Scientist’s Lab: slime making, lava lamps, magic bath bombs - messy but fun.
- Chill zone: library corner for books and stories, plus music and dance sessions.
- And yes, you can literally stand inside a giant bubble. No kidding.
For Whom?
Kids aged 2 and above are welcome. If your kid is 2-3, you’ll need to hang around (parent-toddler bonding sessions are actually quite fun). Older kids get more freedom, with staff keeping an eye out for safety.
What’s Special
Hourly drop-in play sessions mean you don’t have to commit for ages - just walk in when it suits. In Chennai, I run extra workshops like clay modelling and mask making - perfect for kids who want to try something new.

We’re closing soon at all Fabindia Experience Centers (Noida, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai), so if you want to squeeze in a few more visits, abhi aaja (come now). Not much time left for those playdates and messy masterpieces.
