Don't let a rainy day stop the fun! This video shows why Tugbug is the perfect cozy and safe place for kids to play, create, and stay busy when it's wet outside.
As we welcome a new year, I like to set intentions for my parenting journey. This video shares five simple goals, from being more present to encouraging creativity.
One of my key intentions is to teach empathy and kindness. I believe in making these values the heart of our family and community.
To handle sibling rivalry, I suggest setting clear boundaries. Here, two siblings wear aprons they decorated, a fun activity that also teaches them about personal space.
Giving each child individual attention is so important. Spending quality one-on-one time, like in this art session, helps meet their emotional needs.

My center offers a variety of environmentally conscious activities like pottery, weaving, and gardening to reconnect children with nature.

About Additional Work & Parenting Insights
Parenting isn't a solo journey, and it certainly does not come with a manual. At Tugbug, we prioritize 'conscious' over 'perfect.' Whether we are navigating sibling rivalry or setting intentions for the new year, our approach is always grounded in one simple principle: kids thrive when they feel seen, heard, and trusted with the freedom to create.
Why We Believe in Slow, Mindful Play
We often get asked why we focus so much on the 'process' rather than the 'product.' When a child spends an hour at our wheel working on a pot, they are not just making clay; they are practicing patience, fine motor control, and decision-making. We believe that by creating spaces where children can be bored, curious, and messy, we help them develop a stronger sense of self.
Parenting, Together
Our center is as much for you as it is for your little ones. We host open discussions and share tips on managing everything from rainy season safety to the complexities of social interactions. It is about building a village.
- Mindful Transitions: We suggest simple hacks like sensory play during transitions to reduce screen dependency.
- Safety First: From using organic Holi colors to ensuring our indoor play zones are hygienic, we manage the 'messy' parts so you can enjoy the 'creative' parts.

Tugbug
I founded Tugbug to bring back the kind of childhood I grew up with—lots of running around, messy crafts, and genuine curiosity. My team and I are here to support you through the ups and downs of parenting, providing a safe, screen-free haven where your child can just be themselves.
