My Design Process From Concept to Creation

I do not start with software. I start with pencil, paper, and a deep dive into the story behind your business. Here is how I build brand identities from the ground up.

A look at my workbench during the logo development for Gwel Tech. You can see the progression from initial sketches and lettering ideas to a geometrically refined mark, complete with color palette considerations and notes.

These are the initial concept sketches for the Telen Tech brand identity. This stage is about exploring the core idea, in this case, representing "talent meets technology" through circuit-like forms, and defining the visual language before any digital work begins.

The Bhoomi Pooja ceremony marks the start of a new project. For me, this represents the essential first step of any brand collaboration: honoring the foundation and story of the business to ensure we build something meaningful together.

About From Concept to Creation: The Process

I don't open any software until I understand the foundation of your business. That is why you will see my workbench covered in pencil sketches and geometric studies before we even talk about vector formats. I treat every brand identity like an architectural project, building it from a solid core so it remains relevant for years, not just trends.

My process is divided into three distinct phases. It begins with narrative research where I dig into your brand etymology to find the core idea. I believe a strong brand identity must be authentic, much like the Bhoomi Pooja I perform before starting any architectural project to honor the foundation.

Next is the geometric sketching phase. I use rulers, grids, and pencils to explore forms. This is where I tested the circuit-like shapes for Telen Tech and refined the projector-inspired 'G' for Gwel Tech. We do not jump to digital until the concept feels right on paper.

Finally, we move to digital execution. I manually trace these sketches into high-fidelity vectors. I define your primary and secondary color palettes using specific RGB, CMYK, and Hex codes. If we are doing a full system, I also generate brand patterns based on the logo geometry and provide a brand book. This document outlines exactly how to use your logo, clear space requirements, and color hierarchy to keep your identity consistent across all platforms.

I treat brand identities like the spaces I design. It starts with deep research and raw sketches, not quick digital fixes. If you want a visual identity that is built from the ground up rather than off-the-shelf, we should talk.
