Materiality and Process

Packaging is often the first physical touchpoint a customer has with your brand. My approach draws from my background in architecture: focusing on the 'floor plate'—or the structure—before applying the visual identity. We don't just apply a logo to an existing template. We look at the weight of the paper, the die-cut precision, and how the texture interacts with the ink.

Why Sustainable Materials Matter

Design is only as good as its implementation. Using FSC-certified recycled paper is a non-negotiable standard in my studio. This ensures that the raw materials are sourced responsibly. Beyond the environmental impact, there is a distinct visual difference. These papers carry a grain and texture that standard coated papers lack, which adds depth to your brand identity design and signals quality to the end user.

From Sketch to Production

Every project begins with hand-drawn geometric sketching to explore proportion and scale. Once we move to digital execution, I focus on creating a visual system that works across various applications—from small product labels to large shipping boxes. You get high-fidelity digital vectors and, if you choose the full brand system, a brand book that outlines usage rules, color hierarchy, and material recommendations. This ensures your custom logo systems remain consistent as your business scales.
