About Strength & Flexibility Conditioning
We do not just jump into flips. Whether you are an adult beginner or working on advanced tumbling, our sessions start with 15-minute high-intensity conditioning. We cover wrist mobility, deep stretching, and core drills to prep your body. It is tough work, but it is exactly what builds the strength needed to safely tackle handstands or cartwheels without hitting a wall.
Conditioning is the unsung hero of gymnastics. You might see the clean handstand or the perfect cartwheel, but the real work happens in the 15 minutes of warm-up and the targeted strength drills we do before touching the apparatus.
At our Kudlu Gate facility, we use a mix of calisthenics, foam pits, and air tracks to build that foundation. For our adult batches, we break it down:
- Mobility First: Wrists, shoulders, and ankles are under a lot of stress in gymnastics. We spend time on specific mobility work to keep you safe and limber.
- Core Power: Everything in gymnastics comes from the core. We focus on hollow and arch body holds, which might feel simple but are incredibly effective for building the stability you need for floor skills.
- Progressive Strength: You do not need to be flexible to start. We help you chip away at those tight hamstrings and shoulders week by week. No one is expected to do the splits on day one.
Whether you join our weekend warrior batches or the weekday intensive sessions, you are getting coached by ex-national gymnasts. We know the conditioning can be boring and tough, but we make sure you have the support and the community to push through it.
