About Grade School Gymnastics: Building Skills & Strength (6 - 12 years)
Our grade school program is where gymnastics stops being just play and becomes a real challenge. In these 60-minute sessions, your child transitions to independent work, focusing on technical precision like handstands, round-offs, and bar routines, all while building the mental grit to stick with a move until they nail it.
Unlike our younger classes, these sessions are designed for independent mastery. We move away from parent participation and into a structure that mirrors real athletic progression, but with our unique 'Serious Fun' twist. Whether your child is aiming for their first unassisted back handspring or refining their balance beam routine, our instructors are there to ensure every tumble is safe and every landing is celebrated.
We apply our 3-Dimensional Learning approach to every class:
- Get Moving: We build functional strength, coordination, and flexibility. Students work on uneven bars, balance beams, and our inflatable Air Track to safely practice jumps and flips.
- Brain Boost: Gymnastics at this age requires focus and decision-making. We teach kids to listen to instructions, visualize their movements, and understand the physics behind a skill, which helps them in school and beyond.
- Citizen Kid: Teamwork is built into our group activities. While the gymnastics is individual, the spirit in the gym is collaborative. Kids cheer for each other, share equipment, and learn the value of perseverance.
Our facility in Jayanagar is fully air-conditioned and fitted with professional-grade, carpeted bonded foam flooring and crash mats. We keep group sizes small, ensuring that whether your child is a complete beginner or an experienced gymnast, they get the right amount of challenge to keep growing.
