About this collection
At Tiny Mustards, we do not just teach children; we let them explore. Whether it is slicing fruits for a mid-morning snack or learning phonics with sandpaper letters, every activity is designed to build genuine confidence. We keep our groups small so your child gets the specific attention they need, and our prepared environment allows them to choose their work, fostering independence from the moment they walk in at age 2.5.
Our approach is rooted in the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, where the environment serves as the teacher. In our classrooms, you will find low wooden shelves, child-sized tools, and carefully ordered materials that allow children to manage their own tasks. This fosters a sense of order and concentration that sets the foundation for lifelong learning.
We balance this academic rigor with the real world. You will see our students participating in fireless cooking to build fine motor skills, tending to our plants to learn responsibility, and practicing yoga for focus. Culture is equally central to our daily rhythm. From preparing a pookalam for Onam to learning the science behind mixing primary colors, we connect children to their heritage while encouraging them to be curious about the wider world.
Located in the heart of OMBR Layout, our community acts as a family of teachers, parents, and children. We focus on two core programs: the M1 Toddler Foundation for ages 2.5 to 3.5, and the M2 & M3 Advanced Preschool program for ages 3.5 to 6. Both are designed to provide a smooth transition to formal schooling while keeping the joy of learning intact.
