This is why we do what we do. A student of ours was able to use her training to protect a friend from a street assault, years after she had left the school. Our goal is to build instincts that stay with you for life, giving you the confidence to act decisively and effectively when it matters most.
This video shows our First Response combat training program in action with an NGO. We focus on teaching practical techniques to women and children, empowering them to protect themselves in inappropriate or dangerous situations. The skills are simple, effective, and designed for real-world encounters.
Strength comes in many forms. One of our dedicated students, a radiation oncologist by profession, found her motivation in boxing. Her story is a testament to the fact that anyone, regardless of their background, can push their limits, build resilience, and discover a new level of personal strength through martial arts.
It is never too late to start your journey. This student, at 49 years old, demonstrates incredible commitment in his boxing training, overcoming personal physical challenges. His progress shows that with dedication and the right guidance, age is no barrier to learning self-defense and achieving remarkable fitness goals.
The foundation of our school is expertise honed through real experience. As the chief instructor, I believe in leading by example, which includes stepping into the ring myself. This ensures the techniques we teach are not just theoretical but are proven to be effective under pressure.

About Featured
We do not teach flashy, choreographed moves that look good on camera but fail in a real conflict. Our First Response Combat Training focuses on the messy reality of sudden threats: hair pulls, wrist grabs, and unwanted physical contact. Whether you are a corporate professional, a student, or simply looking to build basic safety instincts, we teach you how to react quickly, create distance, and get to safety before a situation escalates.
Martial arts is often portrayed as a sport for the ring, but for us, it is a tool for daily survival and confidence. Based at St. Francis School in Koramangala, our training grounds are where we strip away the theory and focus on what works.
The First Response Approach
Our workshops are designed for the immediate, high-stress seconds of a confrontation. We cover:
- Panic Control: Training your brain to stay focused when you are startled.
- Practical Striking: Using open palms, knees, and improvised tools to defend yourself without needing professional-grade gear.
- Release Techniques: Specific drills to break free from grabs or holds, regardless of your physical size or strength.
Who This Is For
We believe safety is a fundamental right. We run specific batches for women’s self-protection, corporate safety workshops, and open sessions for anyone looking to build resilience. You do not need to be an athlete to start. Many of our students join at 40 or 50 years old, having never thrown a punch before, and walk away with the ability to protect themselves.
We also maintain a rigorous competitive team for those who want to test their skills in boxing, kickboxing, and MMA. This keeps our teaching fresh and ensures that the self-defense techniques we pass on are tested under pressure, not just in a classroom setting.
