Learning music is only half the journey. Stepping onto the stage to share your sound with others is where the real growth happens.

To sing and play the guitar at the same time requires immense passion and practice. Congratulations to our student Ayaan Gupta for this prize-winning performance of "Livin' on a Prayer" with his band at an inter-school competition.

A young student confidently plays guitar and sings at our Student's Concert. We encourage students to become multi-talented performers, and our concerts are the perfect platform to showcase their hard work.

At just 11 years old, Taani has worked her way up over 2.5 years to become a skilled guitarist and singer. Watch her perform "Iktara" at a TMG concert, showcasing her impressive strumming and soloing.

Shreya, a dedicated Western Vocal student, performs Sia's "Titanium" at our Student's Concert. Her commitment to her music time is evident in her powerful and focused stage performance.

Siya, one of our Western Vocal students, performs the timeless ballad "My Heart Will Go On." Her performance shows how regular practice and a love for music can transform a beginner into a talented singer.

Our guitar student Trissha performs a Billie Eilish song at a concert. She has developed a deep understanding of the guitar, allowing her to sing and play her favorite songs with ease.

Another shot of Trissha's concert performance. Participating in our concerts helps students set goals and celebrate their progress.

About From Classroom to Center Stage: Student Performances

Stage performance isn't just about showing off or looking good. It is the ultimate reality check for your practice. When you are up there, you learn to handle the nerves, fix your own mistakes, and actually connect with an audience. Every student you see in these photos started exactly where you are—feeling nervous, yet showing up anyway to put in the work.

Why We Push for Performance

We do not believe in keeping music locked away in a practice room. Whether you are playing a guitar solo, singing a Hindustani composition, or performing a pop ballad, the stage changes your relationship with your instrument. It forces you to get your Sur (pitch) precise and your timing locked in. When you know a performance is coming, your daily practice sessions suddenly gain a new, sharper focus.

Our Performance Culture

We host bi-monthly open mics and large-scale annual concerts. These are not just recitals; they are opportunities to learn the ropes of professional performance:

  • Technical Readiness: You learn to work with microphones, PA systems, and stage setups, not just your instrument at home.
  • Growth Through Exposure: From playing at inter-school competitions to performing at public events like the Women’s Cricket match, our students learn to adapt to different environments.
  • Community Support: You are never alone on stage. Our 'Rockstar Coaches' are there to guide you, and our community of fellow students and supportive parents ensures the vibe remains encouraging, not competitive.

Start Your Journey

It is okay if you are shy. We have had students who barely spoke a word in their first class end up confidently singing in front of a full room. We build this confidence step-by-step. It starts with a comfortable practice session and moves to the stage when you are ready. If you are willing to put in the hours, we will make sure you get the spotlight.
