Vocal Programs
- Hindustani Vocals: Dive into Indian classical singing lessons. We focus on Alankars, Sargams, Aakar and breath control. You’ll learn to hit the right Sur (pitch) and master ornamentations like taans and murkis.
- Western Vocals: From pop to rock, we build your voice with pitch, timing, and texture. You’ll get vocal technique training, learn music theory, and even write your own songs.
How We Learn
- Practice is key - roz thoda gaana, progress dikhega (sing a bit daily, you’ll see progress).
- We recommend sticking around for at least three months.
- Parents can sit in, cheer, and be part of the journey.
- Classes in Mumbai or online vocal coaching - your choice.
Performance & Recording
- Bi-monthly open mics, annual concerts, and real gigs for student performance opportunities.
- Studio sessions to record your own tracks.
Some days are tough, but the stage and the music make it worth it. If you’re ready to sing, we’re here to help you find your sound.

My Story
I'm Hitesh, founder of The Music Gurukul. First time I touched a guitar, kuch alag hi feel tha (it was a special feeling). My journey took me to Ireland, where I heard wild instruments and met musicians from everywhere. Listening, not just playing, became everything. Our Gurukul is not just about classes – it’s a community. We fill the gap where schools miss out. Watching students gain confidence, especially on stage, is the best part. Parents, teachers, students – sab ek journey pe hain (we’re all on this journey together).
