About Amigurumi & 3D Toys Workshop
If you already know your basic chain and single crochet stitches, this is where you take it to the next level. In my 5-day workshop, we move beyond flat pieces to 3D sculpting using magic rings and invisible decreases, covering everything from the internal stuffing techniques to the fine facial embroidery that gives your character its personality.
The shift from 2D crochet to 3D Amigurumi is the most exciting milestone for any student. Unlike standard rows, 3D work requires precision in tension and specific construction techniques that might look intimidating on paper, but become second nature once you see them in action at my home studio in Sector 93.
What we cover in the Masterclass
We spend 10 hours across 5 days diving into the specifics of working in rounds. You will learn the 'invisible decrease'—a tiny detail that makes a massive difference in how seamless your toy looks. We also cover safe assembly: attaching safety eyes properly, embroidery for facial expressions, and high-grade polyfill stuffing so your creations remain huggable for years.
